If you are a Univeristy of Leicester student:

The Library is unable to alter your expiry date. If you need to retain Library privileges for longer, please speak to your Department or Registry.

Registry are located in the Student Support Zone on the Ground Floor of the Fielding Johnson Building. Email registry@le.ac.uk or call 0116 252 2448.

You can review and update your details by logging into My Student Record.

If you are a member of staff:

If you are employed directly by the University of Leicester, please contact Human Resources. For general HR advice and information, email hradvice@le.ac.uk or call 0116 252 2439.

If you are employed by Unitemps please bring proof of contract end dates (for example a letter from your department specifying your employment period) to the Library Reception with photo identification (such as a drivers' license).

If you are a visiting academic, please bring photo identification (such as a drivers' license or passport) and a letter from your department specifying your contract dates and whether or not you require borrowing rights.

If you have a SCONUL account:

You will need to reapply through SCONUL to be given a new expiry date. Please bring your confirmation email (in print or on a mobile device) to Reception with two passport photographs and your University ID.

If you are an external member:

Please bring photo identification (such as a drivers' license) and two passport photographs to Reception.

If you wish to renew a borrowing account, or change your account to include borrowing rights, the cost is dependent upon your type of membership. Please follow this link for details.
