When checking out your books at the Self-Service machines, you will be issued a receipt for your items. The receipt will display the date that your items are due back.
If you did not issue yourself a receipt, you can see the date your items are due back by checking your Library account online via Library Homepage.
Please find below an instruction of how to login your Library account online.
- If a student or staff member of the University:
- From the Library Homepage click on Library account under My Accounts section:
- This will bring you to your Library account page which shows you details of items on your loans, their due dates, renewal option and any outstanding fines:
For a University of Leicester student or member of staff, your loans will automatically renew, providing your account is not blocked or the loans are not needed by another library user.
- If an external borrower of the library:
On the library search results page, click on the Visitors link at the top right of the screen, and enter your library number (beginning 075....) and password to login.
Your loans will be displayed, under My Account, with their current due dates, and you can select which loans to renew. Autorenewal is currently not available to Associate staff and External borrowers.
