Students and staff can choose to try out our new Library search system, which is due to be rolled out fully in the 2018/19 academic year.

Good news! You can now choose to try out the Library's new search interface. The new, mobile-friendly version can be accessed here, or you can find it via the Library tab on MyUoL and on the Library website.

The new search system, also known as Primo 2, benefits from a sleek and modern design, and is ideal for mobile use, for those searching for books on the go. It still has the great functionality of the old search, along with a number of helpful new features, such as:

  • Renewing books and videos online
  • Creating favourites lists for all your most-used items
  • Exporting citations to Refworks and Endnote

When using Primo 2, you'll still be able to retain your favourites and any saved content you currently have. You can still use to old Library search if you'd prefer, as the new site will not be fully implemented until the start of the next academic year.

If you have any questions or would like to leave some feedback, don't hesitate to get in touch with a member of the Library team!
