The library has a large collection of ebooks, covering a variety of topics and subject areas. To find ebooks on Library Search, enter the title of a book or a search term then use the following filters on the right-hand side:

  • under 'Availability' click 'Full text online'
  • under 'Content Type' click 'Books'

Your results will then be narrowed down to eBooks only and the record will advise there is 'Online access'

If you click on the 'View it' tab you will see a further link to click on which will take you to the e-book webpage. If you are off-campus you will then have to login using your IT username and password by using the remote access login.

If the title you are looking for is not listed, then we do not currently have a licence for the eBook. It is worth noting that licenses for eBooks can differ from one another, some titles are limited to one user at a time and others are unlimited. If you are unsure what our access to an eBook is or are unable to view an eBook, please contact us.

The Search and Discover our Collection pages gives more information on the Library's digital collections.
