Q. I have lost my card, what should I do?

If you have lost your student ID card, please go to the Information Hub on the Ground Floor of the David Wilson Library during our staffed service hours. Staff will deactivate your old card so that it cannot be used by anyone else, and issue you a new one.

If you are an External Library member and you have lost your Library card, please let Information Hub staff know so that we can cancel you card. If you cannot visit the Library for some time, please let us know via phone on 0116 252 2448 or email us at library@le.ac.uk. When you next visit the Library, you will need to do so during our staffed service hours to obtain a replacement card. Please note that we charge a replacement fee of £6.

If you are member of staff in need of a new staff ID card, please go to the Estates and Campus Services office at the rear of the David Wilson Library in the Fielding Johnson South Wing. The office is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 3.30pm.
