Datastream can be used on two dedicated PCs situated in the Express Zone on the ground floor of the Library. You should book these PCs using the online booking system. You can book up to two hours per day in a single booking.

To use Datastream please bring your booking confirmation to the Service Desk and ask a member of staff to log you in. Datastream is only available during staffed hours.

If you would like to practise your Datastream search techniques prior to your booking, you can do so using the online Datastream Navigator. No data can be downloaded from the online tool, you must use the PCs in the library for that.

To practise your searching, log on to Datastream Navigator with the username and password provided on the Passwords page [Log in with your University IT account to access this page].

For further information have a look at our Datastream page.

If you encounter any problems whilst using the terminals we have a selection of guides available at the Service Desk which will answer most queries. Should you want more detailed support you can book this using our Book a Librarian service.
