Yes, you are welcome to take books away from campus.

Over the Easter and Christmas vacations, we suspend recalls/requests, so your books will not be requested from you. Please bear in mind that any recalls placed before the suspension date will stand, therefore we advise that you check the return dates on all of your loans before you leave for the vacation, and renew them all then.

Please take a look at our guide on how to renew your loans.

Over the long summer vacation books may still be recalled. We advise that you check your emails daily for any recall notices. If you need to return a book to us whilst you are away, we can accept returns by post. Please address packages as follows:

FOA: Information Hub
David Wilson Library
University of Leicester
University Road
Leicester
LE1 7RH

We advise you to use a tracked service and retain proof of postage as you are responsible for your books' safe return.

If in doubt, ask at the Information Hub on the ground floor of the Library, phone us on +44 (0)116 252 2448 or email us at library@le.ac.uk
