Q. The book I want is on shelf, but I can't get into the Library for a few days. Can I request it?

If the book you want to borrow is showing as available on the shelf in the library, then you will not be able to request it. The library does not offer a click and collect service for books, all items available are on a first come, first serve basis. 

You are welcome to contact the Library before you visit and we can check that the book is still on shelf. You can phone us on 0116 252 2448 or email us at library@le.ac.uk.

Should you be unable to locate a book which is marked as being on shelf, please speak to a member of staff who will investigate the issue.
