If you are a member of academic staff and will be away from campus for a prolonged period of time, the Library recall system will still remain in operation meaning that your books can still be recalled by other users and will need to be returned if this happens. We therefore advise that you return your books to the Library before you travel, particularly if you will be unable to access and return them should they be recalled.

If you have taken books away with you and one becomes recalled, you can post it back to the Library using the address below:

University of Leicester Library
PO Box 248
University Road
Leicester
LE1 9QD

We advise you to obtain proof of postage as you are responsible for their safe return. You can log into your Library Account to check that we have received the books.

You can contact our Enquiry Service by telephone 0116 252 2448 or email library@le.ac.uk to see if the book is still required before sending the book back. If you will be unable to return a recalled item, please let us know as soon as possible.
