Q. I have requested an Inter-Library Loan. How do I check its progress? How long will it take?

You can check the progress of an Inter-Library Loan by logging into your Library Account. Once you have logged in, click on 'My Account' and then 'Requests' to view requests you have made and any progress messages.

Scans of articles and chapters have an average supply time of 24 hours - if the journal ISSN or book ISBN is included in your request these can be supplied much quicker, even over weekends and university closed days.

Physical items immediately available can take between 4 – 10 working days to arrive.
Obscure items and items not immediately available e.g. due to waiting lists or location searches, can take considerably longer.
