Lost property found in the David Wilson Library is kept in the building for a short time before being handed to the Estates and Campus Services (ECS) Support Office.

If you lose or misplace an item in the Library and it is handed in at the front desk then it will be kept for the rest of the day and overnight. The next business day it will be removed from the Library building and handed in to the ECS Support Office.

The Estates and Campus Services (ECS) Support Office is located next to the entrance for the Peter Williams Lecture Theatre. It is open 09:00-15:30 Monday to Friday. It is closed during Bank holidays and University closure days.

If the item is not handed in at the Library front desk then it may be taken directly to the ECS Support Office.

Please be aware that items handed in to the lost property team are kept for one month. After this period, any personal information is destroyed, and the items are donated to charity.

The university now no longer keeps lost drinks bottles, disposing of them immediately.
