If you receive a message saying that the ebook you would like to access is currently unavailable and to try again later, it may be that all copies of that book are currently being read by other library users.

Whilst we have unlimited access to some ebooks, others are purchased in the same way as physical books and so we own or have access to a set number of copies. If you attempt to use an ebook and all of the copies that we own are currently in use, you will receive a message asking you to try again later. Some ebook platforms may ask you to enter your email address, so that you can be placed in a reservation queue. It is recommended that you add your email address, as this will alert you when the book is available and stop you from having to constantly the check the page.

If you feel you are getting this message too often and are unable to access the material that you need, please contact your academic librarian at librarians@le.ac.uk.
