Access to BMJ Best Practice is possible with an NHS Athens account. NHS Athens accounts are available to undergraduate students of medicine, midwifery, nursing, ODP and physiotherapy. Request an NHS Athens by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
To access BMJ Best Practice, go to https://bestpractice.bmj.com/nhsinengland.
Login with your NHS Athens. If you have forgotten this or need a new password, email email@example.com.
If you cannot access BMJ Best Practice using this link, please try https://www.bmj.com/company/hee/ and follow the instructions under How to Access.
If you are a new user, you will then need to register for a BMJ Best Practice personal account. By creating a personal account you will be able to track CME/CPD activity and use these personal account credentials to log in to the BMJ Best Practice app on your mobile.
You do not need a personal account to access the BMJ Best Practice website off campus.
If you see a BMJ Best Practice login page saying “Sorry, but your institution is not authorised to access this application”, clear cookies and cache in your browser, close and reopen the browser, and try the above link again.
If you have any problems, please contact the Library via firstname.lastname@example.org
