Q. I have loaned a laptop but accidentally lost/damaged it - what do I do?

If you have lost or damaged a loanable laptop, please contact us as soon as possible at Library@le.ac.uk or call us on 0116 252 2448 so that we can advise appropriately. Damaged laptops may be passed over to the Digital Services team so that they can assess said damage. 

Please note that the Library reserves the right to charge replacement costs for any lost or damaged laptops, which is £1,095, plus the cost of any accessories. Whilst loaned to your Library Account, the safe-keeping of the laptop is your responsibility, so we would advise taking care when using the device.
