Q. I have borrowed a laptop but accidentally lost/damaged it - what do I do?

If you have lost or damaged a laptop that you have barrowed from the Information Hub at the David Wilson Library, please contact us as soon as possible at library@le.ac.uk or call us on 0116 252 2448 so that we can advise appropriately. The laptop may be passed to the Digital Services team so that they can assess the level of damage. 

Please note that the Library reserves the right to charge costs for any lost or damaged laptops (you can see current replacement fees on the library website https://le.ac.uk/library/using/fees-and-charges) plus the cost of any accessories. Whilst loaned to your Library account, the safe-keeping of the laptop is your responsibility, so we would advise taking care when using the device and ensuring it is not used by anyone else whilst on loan to you.
