Q. Can I renew my laptop?

The loanable laptops are in very high demand and are meant for short-term use only. For these reasons, renewal is not usually possible. Please also be aware that overdue laptops will incur fines of £5 per day or part of a day. 

If the laptop is due and something is impeding the laptop's return (for example, a train strike) please contact us at library@le.ac.uk or 0116 252 2448 so that we can advise further.

If you require a laptop for a longer period than 28 days and are unable to obtain one for financial reasons, we would recommend that you contact the University's Welfare team at welfare@le.ac.uk or 0116 223 1185. They will be able to advise whether any further support is available to you.
