When returning your library books, if you accidently returned a book that belongs to you and you notice your mistake on the same day, please speak to Library staff and we will search for the book in our returns room. You can speak to us in person at the Information Hub, telephone 0116 252 2448 or email library@le.ac.uk.

Any personal books that we find in our library returns will be treated as lost property. We only keep lost property for a short period of time and take it to the Estates and Campus Services (ECS) Office on daily basis. If you have asked at the Information Hub desk in the library and we no longer have it, we will direct you to the ECS office to see if it is there.
