Q. Are there any kitchenette facilities on campus?

There are several are kitchenette facilities available for students on central campus. These are located in:

The Student Union Common Room, which is based on the lower ground floor of the Percy Gee building. It is complete with a range of seating areas, some social and some individual, with power facility throughout. Additionally, there are kitchenette facilities, including hot and cold drinking water, sinks, microwaves, toasters and community fridge.

The Global Lounge, based on the ground floor (Charles Wilson Building) The space contains social and individual seating spaces, many with power facilities but not all, there are kitchenette facilities including sinks, hot and cold drinking water and microwaves.

The Staff & Postgraduate common room, which is based on the first floor of the Charles Wilson building. The space contains social and individual seating spaces, many with power facilities but not all, there are kitchenette facilities including sinks, hot and cold drinking water, fridges and microwaves.

The David Wilson library café, which is based on the ground floor at the front of the building. The space contains social and individual seating spaces (because it is a café) many with power facilities but not all, there are kitchenette facilities including a kettle, toaster and a microwave.

There are currently no dedicated communal kitchenettes or microwaves located directly on-site at The Brookfield Campus. However, students can heat their meals by utilizing the extensive facilities located just a 10 minute walk to the main campus. Alternatively, you can also use the free university shuttle bus if you want to quickly pop over to warm up your lunch and head back.
