Q. I work for the University and I can't access Athens.

When accessing items via Open Athens please ensure you are using the alternative login correctly.

If you are an external associate such as a tutor employed via Unitemps you will have been given a Collaborator IT account. These accounts do not include Open Athens access as standard. 

If you require access to resources that are accessible via Open Athens you will need to contact your Departmental IT Contact.

You can check your user category on the email directory.

If you are a member of staff employed directly by the University and are unable to access resources via Open Athens please contact us at library@le.ac.uk.
