No, the Library does not offer luggage storage facilities but you are welcome to take yor luggage into the library with you. For security reasons please ensure you do not leave it unattended at any time.
Students can borrow a locker to store small items. The lockers are 27cm deep x 56cm high x 30cm wide and are located near to the entrance of the library.
Locker keys can be borrowed at the Service Desk on the Ground Floor of the Library using your Library card. We will inform you of the time it is due, this will be either closing time on the day it is issued or 9am the next morning (if the Library is open 24 hours). Library opening hours can be found here.
Lockers are intended for use whilst you are in the Library only. When you leave the Library please collect your items and return the key. Lockers are not to be used for overnight storage.
Please note that keys returned late will be subject to a £5 fine per day or part of a day.
Do not leave perishable or valuable items in the lockers. You are responsible for both the key and the contents of the locker. The University of Leicester cannot be held responsible for any items that go missing or are damaged. If a key is lost there is a £20 charge for it's replacement.
