Q. I want to keep my books longer. How can I do this?

If you want to keep your books longer, and are a student or staff member at the University of Leicester, your books will automatically renew unless another library user requests them. If another Library user requests a book you have borrowed, you will receive an email asking you to bring the book back to the Library within 7 days. You can check the due date for your books by logging into your library account.

If you are an external member, books can be renewed through your library account, or by contacting us at library@le.ac.uk. 

You cannot renew books if they have been requested by someone else, or if your account is blocked. Your account will automatically be blocked if you have an overdue book/item, or have fines over £10.
