Where can I find the Woolf reports on Access to Justice?

Answer

Lord Woolf published two reports on 'Access to Justice' in the 1990s. Although the title suggests a paper of some kind, the reports were published as books. We have print copies of both the Interim Report and Final Report in the Library available to borrow. The reports are not available digitally.

When referencing the Woolf Reports, please follow the guidance for referencing books.  In the OSCOLA referencing style:

  • Harry Woolf, Access to Justice: Interim Report to the Lord Chancellor on the Civil Justice System in England and Wales (Lord Chancellors Dept 1995).
  • Harry Woolf, Access to Justice: Final Report to the Lord Chancellor on the Civil Justice System in England and Wales (HMSO 1996).
