Do we have any survey or questionnaire software?

Answer

The university subscribes to JISC Online Surveys (formerly Bristol Online Surveys or BOS).  It is online survey software, which enables you to create, distribute and analyse surveys, and is GDPR and ISO 27001 compliant. It is recommended to researchers in preference to free online survey software like Survey Monkey.

JISC Online Surveys is available to all university staff and students.  The software is managed by the university's IT Services department.  Further information is available on the IT Services website.  An account can be requested by emailing dcevents@le.ac.uk.  Login to your account at https://admin.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/accounts/login/

For help using JISC Online Surveys, please refer to the Help & Support webpage.  Additionally, an online video tutorial is available on YouTube (courtesy of Hull University Library).  For enquiries about JISC Online Surveys, please contact IT Services.

[Microsoft Forms is alternative survey software, which could be used for small scale polls, surveys and research projects. Microsoft Forms is available to staff and PGR students, it managed by IT Services, and is available through Microsoft 365.]
