How can the Library support me with my revision?

Answer

There are a number of ways the Library and library services can help you revise and work on assessments over the Winter period.

The Centre for Academic Achievement is based in the Library, and they are running online workshops in the week beginning 9th December. These sessions will cover: dealing with exams on the day; revising for exams; and tips on getting ready for exams. You can book your place and access a huge range of study guides via our website.

If you are in Leicester and on campus, there are lots of study spaces available not just in the Library but also across campus. You are also able to use teaching spaces to work in if there is no teaching event scheduled to take place at that time. The Library itself remains open 24/7 over Winter except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day.

If you're leaving Leicester over Christmas but will be staying in the UK or Ireland, you may be able to use your local university library as a study space using the SCONUL Access scheme which we are a member of.
