Q. How do I request a book that another user has checked out?

If you need a book and all copies are out on loan you can request it in the following way:

1. Find the item in Library Search
2. Login to your library account 
3. In the Get It section, click on 'Request'
4. You do not need to enter any details. Click on the green 'Request' button.

We will ask for a copy of the book to be returned early and will hold it especially for you in the Information Hub, on shelves near to the desk. You will be emailed when it is available for collection. 

You can also use this method to request loanable laptops.
