Q. My book has only checked out for 7 days. Why?

If you have borrowed a book from the library and it has only checked out to your account for 7 days, the loan period on the book will have been shortened due to high demand for the item. This means that a request or multiple requests have been placed for the item by another Library patron or patrons. (we guarantee all loans for a minimum of 7 days https://le.ac.uk/library/using/borrowing)
