If an item that you have borrowed from the library is listed with a status as 'overdue', this means that it was due back at an earlier date and cannot be automatically renewed. It may be that there is a hold request on the item and it is required by another library user, or there may be another reason that your account is stopping the item from being renewed.

If the due date of one of your loans changes, we will send a notice to your University email account. Monthly account statements and overdue notices will also advise if your item is required back and by what date it is due.

Please contact library@le.ac.uk, or speak to staff at the Information Hub for further advice.
