The Doctoral College Reading Room (DCRR) is on the first floor of the David Wilson Library and is available for use by all University of Leicester Research Postgraduate students and members of staff.

You need your University ID card to gain access to the room. If you have access issues, please speak to the Estates and Campus Services team.

Facilities

The DCRR offers both PC facilities and desks, as well as lounge seating for more informal study/work.

The space is designed for ‘quiet’ working, allowing for low conversation between users.

There are two group study rooms that can be booked only by Research Postgraduate students, which are equipped with a PC, LED backlit screen, and whiteboard.

There are lockers inside the room designed for short-term usage. To use a locker please speak to staff at the Information Hub who will provide a key. Locker keys will need to be returned by 9 am the day after they are loaned.
