The Doctoral College Reading Room is on Floor 1 of the University Library and is available for use by all University of Leicester Research Postgraduate students and staff. 

You need your University student card to gain access to the room (University staff: please use your Library card).


The Doctoral College Reading Room offers both formal and informal study spaces for individual study and also to facilitate quiet conversations related to research. There is a silent study room for those preferring to study in total silence and  two group study rooms that can be booked only by Research Postgraduate students and which are equipped with a PC, LED backlit screen, and whiteboard.
