If you have requested a book from the David Wilson Library, we cannot give a precise amount of time it will take for the item to become available.

If the requested book is due to be returned within 7 days of the request being placed, the original due date will stand and the user who has the book checked out will not be able to renew it further.

If the book is not due back for 7 days or more then the book will be recalled. A notice will be sent to the user who has the book advising them that they have 7 days to return it and that its due date has been amended.

Once the book becomes available, you will be sent an email to visit the library and collect the book. It will be held for collection for 7 days.

If you have requested a book from a different library, please see here: https://libraryhelp.le.ac.uk/faq/11853
