Q. Who can request Inter Library Loans?

The following user categories are eligible for Inter Library Loans: 

• Current staff  

• Research postgraduates

• Taught course postgraduates, including PGCE

• Undergraduates (distance learning and remote learning) 

• Emeritus Professors 

The following user categories are eligible for Inter Library Loans, but authorisation is required from your department before you can submit requests. Please ask your supervisor to email documentsupply@le.ac.uk explaining why you require Inter Library Loans. 

• Undergraduates (campus-based) 

• Postgraduate certificate 

• Intercalating students (unless from Medicine - they should have the correct permissions automatically)

• Visiting academic staff and teaching assistants 

The following user categories are not eligible for Inter Library Loans: 

• Temporary or short course

• Guest patron 

• Vacation time patron 

• College student 

If you are in one of these categories you may be able to request an Inter Library Loan via your local public library service.
