How can I access the nursing and midwifery or pharmacy Clinical Key?

Answer

We have access to Clinical Key Student Nursing and Midwifery and Clinical Key Student Pharmacy (but note we do not have Clinical Key Student Medicine)

Follow the link to a specific book, if you have one.   Otherwise, go to Clinical Key Student Nursing and Midwifery or Clinical Key Student Pharmacy via the Library's Databases A-Z.

Create a personal account in Clinical Key for added features.   If you already have a personal account, enter the details into the Username and Password boxes.    To create a personal account, click Register here, under Log In.

If you already have a personal account in another Elsevier resource (Science Direct, Scopus, Clinical Key Physician), you can use that account here.

To proceed without a personal account (there is a short video to show you the steps listed below) :

On the launch page, under More Options, click "Log in via your institution".

Type in Leicester and select University of Leicester.

If you are taken to a University of Leicester login page, login with your University IT account credentials, that is, your University IT username (for example abc123) and password.

If you have used NHS Athens in the same browser session, you may be denied access to Clinical Key Student altogether.  If that happens, delete all cookies and clear your browser cache, or click the padlock icon next to the URL > Cookies and site data > Manage cookies and site data and clear all cookies.   Restart the browser and try again.

If that does not work, contact librarians@le.ac.uk for advice.

There are separate instructions for the medical Clinical Key, which is a separate resource.
