How do I find NICE guidance?
Here are some tips for how to find guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
Answer
On the NICE website
Browse by condition, population group or setting at https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance
Use the search box at the top of any NICE page to search for a topic. Topics are suggested as you type but you can search for other things. The full text of the guidelines is searched.
You can refine any search results by date, type of guidance, status (use this to remove discontinued advice) and guidance programme.

Eolas Medical
NICE guidance is contained in the Eolas Medical app, along with national guidelines from a range of other organisations. You need to register for an account.
It is possible to search across everything in Eolas, or to search across just NICE guidance. Eolas includes all the NICE guidance types but you can only search the titles of the guidelines, not the full text. Having identified a guideline of interest, you can search the text of that individual guideline.
Note about British National Formulary: BNF content is only accessible in Eolas if you register for Eolas with an NHS email address. Access the BNF via Medicines Complete or the BNF app instead.
Clinical Key Physician
Access instructions are at https://libraryhelp.le.ac.uk/librarians/faq/242377
Once logged in, click Guidelines. Some NICE guidelines are included in that Guidelines section. They do not bear the series code and number.
Some guidelines from other organisations, and some published in journals are also included, but many of them are from the United States. It is not possible to filter to NICE when searching, although it is possible when browsing (note that NICE appears some way down the alphabetical list of options).
